LVGRS Officers

I moved to Las Vegas in 1967, where I was stationed at Nellis AFB until 1970. In 1976, I graduated from CSN, with a degree in Business Management. In 1987, I married my lovely wife Cathy and we live ‘happily’ in the Henderson area. I worked at Caesars Palace for over thirty years with the last eight years in management of the facilities department. I started teaching some Adult Continuing Education classes for the labor union in 2005. In 2006 I retired from Caesars. I bought my first “G” scale train in 1995 at the GATS Show. My layout consists of an elevated track installed in our living room. Cathy and I joined the LVGRS Club about three years ago and have attended as many train runs as possible.

Barbara and I have been members of LVGRS since 1998. I am currently the Treasurer and very active with the club. When Clark Lord decided not to run for Treasurer, after many years of dedicated service, I put my name in and was elected almost four years ago. I have also been a 'Member at Large’ on the Board. We love being a part of the LVGRS club and plan on supporting it as long as we can. We have a small layout in our backyard, just large enough for running trains for the family. I have built tunnels, trestles', buildings for our layout; plus we have the responsibility of decorating two modules on the club module layout. This keeps us busy and we love it!
